Sustainability

Wherever possible we source our aggregates locally. We are based in Doncaster and are well located between good quality sand quarries and limestone quarries.

We buy our aggregates in bulk which is more efficient, both economically and environmentally. They are bought and then supplied loose which eliminates any need for plastic packaging.

Delivering small quantities of loose aggregates locally means we only need a small Nissan van which is much more economical than large Hiab lorries that are typically used in aggregates. Our van meets Euro 6 Emissions standards.

We now stock recycled Grit sand which is a popular alternative to quarried grit sand.

We also stock reclaimed railway ballast as it is a cheaper and more sustainable alternative to primary materials such as limestone

To supply quality materials whilst trying to keep our impact on the environment as low as possible. Use reclaimed materials wherever practical.

When supply loads further afield, we aim to source local materials wherever possible to save on unnecessary transport.

Aggregate supply is a vital aspect of all construction projects and that will never change. Ensuring production is as sustainable and waste free as possible is crucial for the long term outlook.

We ensure all our products are CE marked and conform to the Factory Production Control Manual under the ISO 9001 management system.

This ensures a consistent level of product quality which is checked regularly through product testing.
